Join us for a Windsurfing Safari in Narbonne and surroundings on the Wed 24th September 2003.
Organisers: Xtractif Adventure Sports, in cooperation with Stephen Jones, a local RYA level 5 instructor, will show you the best windsurfing spots in the kingdom of the Tramontane, the strong North Westerly that makes the area one of the most windy places in Europe.

With our minibus/trailer you will travel to the best windsurfing spots for the local conditions.
You can sail your own kit, have some coaching /instruction or just chill and watch the commotion.
In the evenings if you have any energy left we will be your guides to the best French cuisine (on and off the beach) and of course the local wine!!!
Accomodation
You will be staying in luxury mobile homes on Camping La Nautique, situated on
500 m from the La Nautique windsurfing spot. For the days that we sail here, you
can leave your kit rigged up in the storage for free. The
campsite has a restaurant/bar and heated outdoor swimming pool.

Coaching and Tuition
Can be arranged on the spot. Stephen Jones is a RYA level 5 instructor, who has been working in the area for a number of years. Starting windsurfing in Scotland in the early nineties, Stephen quickly got the bug and started to search for more consistent winds in Spain and France. Vassiliki (Greece) and Margarita (Venezuela) were his teaching grounds. Now he has come to rest in a place where he can windsurf all year round, Narbonne.
